Recreation Area Map 

The 296 site campground is on the shores of Lake Superior and walking distance to downtown Grand Marais. Across 40 acres, roughly half our sites are available for nightly and weekly reservations; the other half are seasonal and/or drop-in, first-come/first-serve sites.

The lakeside RV and tent sites on the harbor (1-18) are drop-in only.  You must be present in the office to register for these prime sites. We have a waiting list for seasonal sites.
